Always on The run è una canzone che parla di un ragazzo con problemi psicologici, al punto da sentire diverse voci che lo fanno vivere in un bipolarismo molto forte. Vorrebbe liberarsi di quei fardelli, ma non gli è possibile, così si ritrova a dover sempre inseguire tutto nella vita, diviso tra le sue diverse personalità, che alternano umori e desideri.

Isaak è un ragazzo nato in Germania da genitori islandesi: dopo un passato a X Factor, eccolo dunque all’ESC 2024.

Anche questa Always on The run, dal punto di vista musicale, si distingue ben poco dalla massa: solita canzone in lingua inglese, con ritmi e cori pop e qualche accenno rock che vorrebbe imitare i Queen. Nessuna possibilità di vittoria secondo i bookmakers: siamo tutti d’accordo.
